COURSE OVERVIEW

The PMP Exam Prep crash course is designed to give experienced project managers the knowledge they need to pass the PMP exam. The course utilizes PMI's PMBOK fourth edition, and "The PMP Exam, How to Pass on your First try", by Andy Crowe to assist the student with learning the PMI WAY. The course includes PMI foundational concepts, PMI's five process groups and nine knowledge areas. The course goes over each of the 42 PMI processes and gives the student practice quizzes after each topic, culminating in a 200 question practice exam. The use of practice quizzes and exam with the accompanying discussion of why each answer is best for that question is where a lot of the learning takes place. By taking this course you will meet your 21 hours of project mananagement education. This class is a crash couse. .

AUDIENCE AND PREREQUISITES

The PMP Exam Prep crash course is designed for those students that have extensive project management experience and are ready to study for the PMP exam in three intensive days. It is recommended that you have already completed your exam application and been accepted for the exam before you attend the course and that you sit for the exam within a few weeks of taking the course. This crash course is recommended for those students who have put in independent study and are already somewhat familiar with PMI's approach to project management.

Gain and Maintain Your PMP

The certification exam has 200 multiple-choice questions, and you have four hours to complete it.
To maintain your PMP, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years.

EXAM / CERTIFICATION: Prerequisites

Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
7,500 hours leading and directing projects
35 hours of project management education
OR

Four-year degree
4,500 hours leading and directing projects
35 hours of project management education
