COURSE OVERVIEW

This 5 Day Bootcamp is a fast paced course that includes: Excel Level 1, Excel Level 2, Word Level 1, Word Level 2 and Outlook Level 1.

This course aims to provide you with a foundation for Excel knowledge and skills, which you can build upon to eventually become an expert in data manipulation. Excel can help you organize, calculate, analyze, revise, update, and present your data in ways that will help the decision makers in your organization steer you in the right direction. Word is designed to help you move smoothly through the task of creating professional-looking documents. Its rich features and powerful tools can make your work easy and even fun.

AUDIENCE AND PREREQUISITES

This course is intended for students who wish to gain the foundational understanding of Microsoft Office Excel , Word and Outlook that is necessary to create and work with electronic spreadsheets. Students will learn Excel Level 1 and 2. The Excel courses is intended for students who wish to gain the foundational understanding of Microsoft Office Excel that is necessary to create and work with electronic spreadsheets as well as learn higher-level functionality in Excel to anlyze and present data. Word 1 and 2 Students will learn skills such as creating, editing, and formatting documents; inserting simple tables and creating lists; and employing a variety of techniques for improving the appearance and accuracy of document content. To ensure success, students will need to be familiar with using personal computers and should have experience using a keyboard and mouse. Students should also be comfortable working in the Windows® 10 or 7 environment and be able to use Windows 10 or 7 to manage information on their computers. Specific tasks the students should be able to perform include: opening and closing applications, navigating basic file structures, and managing files and folders. To obtain this level of skill and knowledge, you can take either one of the following Logical Operations courses:

Student should be prepared to work and grasp topics quickly. Each Subject Matter will be complete in 1 day for 5 days.

To ensure your success in this course, you should have end-user skills with any current version of Windows® Including: Being able to start programs, Switch between programs, locate saved files, close programs and access websites using a web browser.
